Artist Spotlight: Carson Yoder

Carson Yoder’s art was featured in LOK’s 9th Annual Young Artist Expo in 2022. Several of his pieces sold and currently his work in on display at Pickles, a retail store in Valparaiso. (Store co-owner Allie was a friend of Lindsey’s!) Here is a statement from the artist:

Hi, I’m Carson. I am a twelve-year-old young man from LaPorte County. I enjoy reading comics like Calvin & Hobbes, Far Side Gallery, and Garfield. These comics inspired me to do my own comics and doodles. I prefer to use canvas art boards or 98# paper to draw on with pencil, #12 Micron pen, or my Japanese fountain pen. The goal of my art is to inspire ideas in others and to entertain.
